Benefits include Paid Vacation, Sick Time, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision and Company matching 401K All applications must be completed in entirety/Local candidates only Licensed Clinical Supervisor - CVHI The Licensed Clinical Supervisor for the California Veterans Health Initiative (CVHI) reports directly to the Director of Clinical Services – CVHI (also known as the Clinical Director – CVHI). This individual is responsible for overseeing the CVHI program through clinical supervision and providing direct services. Key responsibilities include supervising clinical staff, ensuring treatment protocols and policies are followed, and facilitating regular team meetings to review caseloads and current issues. The Licensed Clinical Supervisor also works with leadership to develop training plans for clinicians and ensures the implementation of evidence-based practices, and they oversee quality assurance, regulatory compliance for client records, and submitting program evaluations and reports. Additionally, the licensed clinical supervisor delivers evidence-based therapy to veterans and their families, performs patient screenings and assessments, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care in support of U.S.VETS’ mission.

Requirements

  • LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT licensure required
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy and/or Psychology required
  • Must meet requirements to be an approved supervisor by the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS)
  • At least five years’ experience in a clinical setting
  • Knowledge in DSM-IV/DSM-V diagnoses
  • At least three years of supervisory experience
  • Availability to be on call 24-hours for crisis management
  • Experience in PTSD diagnosis and treatment
  • Experience working with adults, children, couples, and families
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practice, including targeted, evidence-based treatment modalities and measurement-based care
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer and information systems
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Ability to take general direction, work independently, and within a team
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse group of clients, staff, and community members
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, meet company insurance requirements, complete a provided driver training course, and drive company vehicles for work-related activities to include client transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with military populations and/or veterans is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees clinical aspects of the program along with providing staff clinical supervision, both individual and group, and direct services to clients
  • Ensures that staff clinicians are providing treatment in compliance with established protocol and policy
  • Meets regularly with the clinical team to allocate caseloads and keep abreast of current issues
  • Communicates program information and updates to clinical staff
  • Collaborates with leadership to establish training and development plans for clinical staff
  • Monitors and facilitates the implementation of evidence-based practices by clinic staff
  • Ensures quality assurance and conducts regulatory compliance audits of client files (paper and electronic)
  • Provides on-going program evaluation and recommendations to the Director of Clinical Services (Clinical Director) for continuous growth and quality improvement
  • Prepares and submits weekly and monthly program reports, including ad hoc reports as requested by the Director of Clinical Services (Clinical Director)
  • Provides evidence-based treatment to veterans and their families, including individuals, couples, and family therapy to adults, adolescents, and children
  • Conducts and documents patient screenings, psychosocial assessments, and progress and referral information
  • Conducts clinical intake assessments on veterans and family members as needed
  • Collaborates and coordinates with caregivers, physicians, case management and all other disciplines to provide the best care to patients as needed
  • Attends weekly clinical, supervision, and administrative meetings
  • Provides services via telehealth platform as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned
