We are seeking a License Clinical Social Worker to provide comprehensive psychosocial services to patients and families in both hospital and emergency settings.

Requirements

Master’s of Social Work (MSW) from accredited school by the Council on Social Work Education.
Licensed as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)/Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in state where work is being performed.
Knowledge of emotional and mental disorders and mental disorders and the DSM.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate care well with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Conducting psychiatric assessments using DSM IV TR
Offering individual counseling and crisis intervention
Building strong therapeutic rapport
Identifying hospital and community resources
Making referrals
Advocating for patient needs
Provide psychoeducation to patients and families to strengthen coping and problem-solving skills
Addressing issues such as abuse/neglect, chemical dependency, grief, and discharge planning
Maintaining professional development through continuing education
Contributing to performance improvement by evaluating patient outcomes and departmental success
Performing other assigned tasks
