Licensed Clinical Social Worker with LADC - part-time
About The Position
Greater Portland Health is looking for an independently licensed behavioral health clinician LCSW with LADC credential to join a collaborative, interdisciplinary healthcare team. Duties include, but are not limited to, completing mental health and substance use screenings and assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing clinical intervention relevant to patient needs and goals. The population served is primarily people experiencing homelessness with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The team is mobile and will primary connect with patients in the community via our mobile medical van, with the goal of engaging patients in a low barrier environment.
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work and licensed as a Clinical Social Worker by the State of Maine required.
- Excellent working knowledge of behavioral medicine and evidence-based treatments for medical and mental health conditions.
- Competence in emergency assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of various psychiatric/chemical dependencies to adequately meet position requirements.
- Competency for adults, geriatrics, and disability-based for chemical dependency required.
