About The Position

Must possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling with a LMSW, LLP or LPC licensure from the State of Michigan. All state licensure must continually remain active, in effect, and free from disciplinary action. - Required. A minimum of two (2) years of experience treating adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders. - Required. Specific experience working in a community mental health setting and knowledge. - Preferred. Must be eligible for a Qualified Mental Health Professional at the time of hire and a Substance Abuse Treatment Specialist credential within 120 days of hire. Must possess a CAADC credential, or be on an active, approved registered MCBAP certification Development Plan within six weeks of hire. The Development Plan application must be submitted to MCBAP with or without the required trainings within 30 days of hire. Documentation of required trainings may be submitted with the Development Plan Application or within 90 days of hire. Candidates for this position must have exceptional clinical assessment, client engagement and intervention skills. Candidates must also possess and retain a Chauffeurs license and meet the driving eligibility requirements as defined by the agency’s current insurance policy.
