About The Position

THIS IS A Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Supervisor POSTION ACCEPTABLE LICENSURES ARE LMSW, LLP, or LPC with the State of Michigan Master’s Degree in social work, psychology or counseling with an LMSW, LLP or LPC licensure from the State of Michigan. Required Candidate must have at least one (1) year experience in examining, evaluating and treating children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disability diagnoses and utilizing relevant treatment modalities.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in social work, psychology or counseling with an LMSW, LLP or LPC licensure from the State of Michigan
• Candidate must have at least one (1) year experience in examining, evaluating and treating children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disability diagnoses and utilizing relevant treatment modalities.
• Must meet the requirements for Children’s Mental Health Professional (CMHP) and Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) within 120 days of hire
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be organized, creative, flexible, and provide, non-judgmental, culturally competent, unconditional care
• Individual must be highly organized and demonstrate competence in providing services to consumers of psychiatric and specialized services
• Must have valid driver’s license and favorable driving record
• Must have the ability to appropriately handle crisis situations
• Cannot accept candidates who are on student/work visas, and/or require sponsorship to work in the U.S. at this time

Nice To Haves

• Experience in working with Waivers.
• One year of experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience with electronic medical record
