About The Position
Provides social work services including psychosocial assessments, brief patient/family counseling, support, resources and education intervention to meet the standards of the patient/family and ensure continuity of care. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The social services teams provide direct services to clients, impart information and make referrals, screen and assess clients, and intervene in crisis situations most often in their area of practice. We are an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, working closely with doctors, nurses and other medical professionals.
Requirements
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in State of Oregon required.
- Experience as a social worker in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
