General Summary: A Psychologist will be responsible for testing/evaluations and report writing, particularly with individuals with disabilities. This role involves working in an integrated clinic, providing essential psychological services to a diverse population, including children and adults.

Requirements

  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Able to pass 5 panel drug test & submit to regular screening
  • Valid AZ DPS Level I fingerprint clearance card (must maintain valid card throughout employment)
  • CPR, First Aid, AED certification, if required (must maintain throughout employment).
  • Initial current negative TB test result, if required (Employer provides).
  • PhD/PsyD in Clinical, School, or Counseling Psychology from an accredited university
  • Training/career emphasis in standardized assessment with scientifically validated, norm referenced instruments
  • Licensed to practice in Arizona or eligible for licensure in Arizona.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess mental health conditions.
  • Administer testing as necessary and appropriate.
  • Complete reports in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in psychology.
  • Provision of direct diagnostic evaluation for youth and their families with a focus on autism spectrum disorder and differential diagnosis
  • Develop strong working relationships with our growing behavioral health colleagues and work well in interdisciplinary settings
  • Provision of supervision of psychology graduate students, predoctoral interns, and/or postdoctoral fellows
  • Provision of training for medical students, residents, and/or fellows within the context of psychological evaluation
  • Potential for provision of additional clinical services based on expertise and interest (i.e., delivery of evidence-based interventions including behavioral therapy and parent training)
  • Other duties as determined by the Vice President of Clinical Operations – Specialty Services or Chief Medical Officer, in accordance with the general nature of the role.
