About The Position

The Wraparound Licensed Clinical Director is responsible for the overall clinical oversight, leadership, and management of behavioral health services within the wraparound program. This role ensures that all services meet high standards of care, adhere to state and federal regulations. The Wraparound Licensed Clinical Director provides supervision to licensed clinicians, oversees clinical programming, and works closely with Wraparound leadership to ensure services are trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and outcome-driven. The Wraparound Licensed Clinical Director reports to the Director of Wraparound Services.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field (required).
  • Active Louisiana licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist (required).
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of clinical experience in behavioral health, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role and in a community-based setting.
  • Strong understanding of Louisiana behavioral health regulations, Medicaid requirements, and systems of care.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement, data analytics, and program evaluation.
  • Must maintain a valid Louisiana driver’s license
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the wraparound program.
  • Ensure compliance with Louisiana Medicaid, state, and federal regulations.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and best practice guidelines.
  • Oversee the assessment, treatment planning, and service delivery process to ensure quality care.
  • Collaborate with Director of Wraparound Services, Wraparound Program Director, and other members of leadership to coordinate clinical care for wraparound clients/families.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives, including audits, outcome monitoring, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Support staff development through training, mentorship, and continuing education opportunities.
  • Serve as the clinical representative for the organization at state and community meetings.
  • Ensure trauma-informed and culturally competent care is embedded throughout all programs.
  • Ensure that services are provided in a manner that is consistent with values and principles of the National Wraparound Initiative (NWI) and Louisiana Coordinated System of Care (CSoC).
  • Promote clinical practices that are consistent with professional and ethical standards.
  • Equip staff with knowledge of clinical best practices and current treatment innovations.
  • Maintain appropriate certifications and credentials essential for maintaining the Wraparound Licensed Clinical Director position.
  • Supervise and provide coaching techniques to assessors to create effective clinically-sound assessments. Oversee all duties associated with supervising staff to include hR functions such as, performance evaluations, corrective actions, etc.
  • Participate with the wraparound leadership team in evaluating service outcomes and in making recommendations for program improvement.
  • Assist in completion of initial assessments and reassessments when necessary. Completion of an initial assessment and reassessment quarterly to maintain the skills required to complete strength-based, clinical assessments.
  • Facilitate skills trainings with staff, providing them with knowledge of most common diagnoses of youth in wraparound and creative strength-based, clinical strategies to assist the client.
  • Participate in calls with Magellan of Louisiana, OBH, and LDH regarding youth in crisis situations and inpatient hospitalizations; workgroups and/or committees to create effective processes to serve the youth in the wraparound program.
  • Participate in training and development activities as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
