What we need: Les Olson IT has operated a Structured Cabling division for over 4 years, and we're looking to build out our physical security offerings to include burglar alarm installation. We are seeking to hire an experienced alarm installation agent who meets the requirements of the Utah Department of Professional Licensing to become a Burglar Alarm Qualifying Agent . We want to add someone who can offer guidance as we develop this new division, with the full support of our team of experienced cabling technicians. Individual must meet the following requirements, constituting the Utah State criteria for licensure for a Qualifying Agent: Has within the past ten years, and while working as an alarm company agent , accumulated at least 6,000 hours (3 years) working for a licensed alarm company, at least 2,000 hours (1 year) of which were in a supervisory or managerial role, AND Has successfully taken or is willing to take the Utah Burglar Alarm Qualifier exam and the Utah Burglar Alarm Security Laws and Rules exam Additionally, you'll need to have: Excellent customer service skills and patience in explaining systems to non-technical customers Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) Clean driver's license and reliable means of transportation Willingness to travel on occasion Scissor and boom lift driving experience preferred What makes Les Olson different?
