About The Position

We are looking for a Part Time Licensed Behavior Analyst, LBA, for our Voorhees Pedatric Facility located in Voorhees Pedatric Facility.The LBA will be part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team that includes a psychologist, licensed clinical social workers, speech therapist(s), and occupational therapist(s). The LBA will direct the assessment and treatment of challenging behavior, along with skill acquisition components of treatment within this framework.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field, plus a minimum of two years of related experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, required.
  • BCBA certification required.
  • New Jersey licensure in behavior analysis is required.
  • Though NJ licensure is a requirement, candidates with an active BCBA certification may be eligible to interview.

Nice To Haves

  • A PhD in a related discipline is desirable.
  • Prior experience in functional assessment and treatment development is highly preferred.
  • Prior management experience is also preferred.

Responsibilities

  • The Licensed Behavior Analyst supervises and oversees all activities associated with the development and implementation of behavior analytic services within the Individual Service Plan and Behavior Intervention Plan.
  • Leads the development and implementation of behavior plans; this includes functional behavior assessment/analysis, preference assessments and treatment evaluations.
  • Engages in ongoing data review and analysis to ensure effective programming.
  • Identifies training needs and develops and conducts those trainings to ensure the ongoing knowledge and ability to effectively implement behavior plans.
  • Conducts/oversees team screening admission evaluations and intake assessments; oversees the admission, transition, and discharge processes.
  • Coordinates and leads clinical case review meetings (rounds) to ensure proper data review and discussion of the needs of persons’ served.
  • Serves as a behavior analysis expert to the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
  • Conducts and presents research to internal and external audiences.
  • The Licensed Behavior Analyst serves as a clinical supervisor, implementing ABA themselves but also, training and directly supervising Behavior Support Specialists.
