About The Position

Primarily within the acute behavioral health inpatient unit, engage with patients, treatment team, and staff to address challenging behavior and develop/implement individualized behavior plans and interventions to enhance a child's ability to function in their daily environment. Primary diagnoses may include Neurodevelopmental Disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Impulse Control Disorder and Psychotic Disorder

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
  • Certification as Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Alabama at the start of employment

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years' experience working with children diagnosed with developmental delay.
