About The Position

Victory Hearing & Balance is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Licensed Assistant in Audiology (L-AA) to support our audiology team in delivering high-quality patient care. This role plays a critical part in improving clinic efficiency, enhancing patient experience, and supporting hearing aid services under the supervision of a licensed audiologist.

Requirements

• Active Texas Licensed Assistant in Audiology (L-AA) license (or ability to obtain)
• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and professionalism
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a medical, audiology, or healthcare setting
• Interest in hearing healthcare and long-term career growth
• Experience with hearing aids or patient care support

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patients for audiology appointments
• Assist with patient flow and ensure timely provider handoffs
• Support otoscopy procedures within scope
• Assist with hearing protection education and fitting
• Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot hearing aids (non-programming)
• Replace batteries and manage accessories
• Prepare devices for fittings and follow-up visits
• Maintain clean and organized treatment rooms
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Manage inventory of hearing aid supplies and equipment
• Assist with EMR documentation in accordance with clinic standards
• Schedule follow-up appointments
• Identify and communicate patient needs to the provider
