Licensed Addiction Counselor
About The Position

As an Addiction Counselor, you will provide individuals opportunity for recovery management so they can live and work independently in their home community. Services are provided in homes and communities, and therefore, travel is a norm.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Addiction Counseling, Addiction Studies, Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
- Current licensure as an Addiction Counselor (LAC) by the North Dakota Board of Addiction Counseling Examiners.
- Valid driver's license
- Successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct level-of-care screenings and assist in developing integrated service plans.
- Provide short-term individual, family, and group counseling.
- Deliver crisis intervention and risk assessments both in the office and in community settings.
- Offer education and consultation to families, community partners, interns, and residents.
