The License Technician at the Photo ID Center is responsible for providing efficient, courteous customer service to all individuals entering the center. This role involves ensuring customers possess proper identification and documentation, and overseeing the daily operations of the work site. Key responsibilities include managing consumables, processing customers promptly and without discrimination, issuing finished products accurately, and meticulously recording all transactions. The technician is also tasked with maintaining the security of the Photo License Center premises, including photographic equipment and consumables, by managing the security system and securing materials. They must accurately process customers by verifying identification, operating camera equipment to produce quality photographic licenses or identification cards, and issuing the correct product. Additional duties include completing and preparing paperwork, following procedures for receiving and accounting for consumables, performing daily opening and closing tasks, maintaining the center's cleanliness and orderliness, conducting routine equipment maintenance, attending mandatory training, and adhering to call-off procedures. The position requires reporting to assigned sites within a 30-mile radius, promoting workplace safety, and communicating progress, problems, and concerns to the Photo License Center Manager or Assistant Photo License Center Manager.
