ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following duties. Additional essential functions maybe identified by the organization and listed as such in the incumbent’s performance appraisal elements. Various tasks may be assigned under each essential function. Maintain an established Master Technical Data Library, which will include all technical publications and applicable government publications regarding the customer’s aircraft. Requisition necessary publications from OEM and vendors and incorporate revisions and changes to hard copies. Maintain online technical data subscriptions and ensure uninterrupted access to users. Assist in notification to users of updates and revisions of technical data. Order and distribute aircraft operating manuals, systems manuals, and pilot guides upon request. Print and bind aircraft operating manuals, systems manuals, and pilot guides as needed. Assist V2X personnel in setting up individual account access to on-line publications. Regularly audit technical data revision status and maintain records of revisions for Quality review. Recommend and implement processes to improve accuracy and efficiency. Able to work any assigned shift or scheduled, including mission support outside normal duty hours and travel as required to support mission requirements. Performs other duties as assigned. Incumbent performs other job-related tasks as assigned and required. KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS: The following skills and abilities are required: Ability to perform the above tasks with a minimum amount of supervision. Must possess knowledge of data processing techniques using standard computer terminals. Proficient with MS Office products, to include primarily Word and Excel. Must be able to communicate effectively (phone, email, in-person) Must be able to obtain and maintain in force a driver’s license. The following skills and abilities are preferred: Recent experience maintaining aircraft technical publications. Understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and aircraft maintenance terminology. Experience with IBM Maximo, Pentagon 2000SQL, or other similar aircraft MRO programs PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
