Job Summary: This is a part-time position for a reliable student providing customer service at the Health Sciences Library and Informatics Center (HSLIC) public service desk. Shifts include daytime (8am-5pm) Monday-Friday hours and Saturday (12pm-5pm). Job Duties: • Assisting students, faculty, staff and members of the public with resource access, reference, and general and directional questions in person, over the phone, and on live chat • Checking library materials in/out • Assisting with opening and closing the library • Helping users with printing and computers • Shelving returned items and shelf-reading the collection • Assisting users with 3D printing, virtual reality, and the Anatomage anatomy table • Participating in projects and other duties as assigned
