We are hiring an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Page teams! You will ensure library materials are shelved accurately and create a positive and inviting atmosphere for all patrons. Your work will be with staff and volunteers, and you will contribute to the care of the library collection. Page Substitutes support daily service delivery to library patrons in the absence of location Pages. Page Substitutes are non-benefitted, temporary staff who may work at any of JCPL’s library locations up to a maximum of 24 hours per week around their schedule. Schedules may be arranged in advance or may be on-call for last-minute needs at the discretion of the employee's availability. Shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, or holidays. Page Substitutes can accept or decline shift coverage around their schedule and their preferred location(s). Working as a Page Substitute can be a great opportunity to gain Library Experience to allow candidates to move into permanent, full, or part-time positions.
