About The Position
Placer County is currently accepting applications for Management Analyst - I & II (Liability Management Analyst). Each level in this job series has different minimum qualifications. This position will be primarily responsible for General Liability administration and liability claims management. The incumbent will also be responsible for:
Responsibilities
- Insurance management and renewal coordination amongst other County departments.
- Reviewing contracts for appropriate indemnification language and insurance requirements.
- Investigating and managing property and liability claims for settlement purposes.
- Analyzing, evaluating, and monitoring accident/incident losses and trends.
- Planning, organizing, designing, and implementing accident/incident investigation and prevention training.
- Monitoring, coordinating, and assisting in liability/program activities.
- Maintaining record keeping systems for claims and loss statistics.
- Preparing management reports showing loss control program results.
- Managing insurance policies and renewals.
