About The Position

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a dedicated professional with 15 years of US Navy C5ISR experience and a secret clearance to be our next LHA/LPD C5ISR Project Manager. This hybrid role supports PMS377 at The Washington Navy Yard.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any technical discipline
  • At least 15 years work experience with US Navy C5ISR systems
  • Familiarity with PEO IWS and NAVWAR/PEOC4I is required
  • Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or DAU Program Manager equivalent is desired

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: As the LHA/LHD C5ISRT Project Manager you are responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of LHA/LPD C5ISR projects. This role ensures that all program goals are met while maintaining adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Lead and manage LHA/LPD C5ISR projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project plans including scope, timeline, resources, and budget.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate and oversee cross-functional teams, providing clear direction and support.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment to achieve project objectives.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review project status and resolve issues.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact between project teams and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication regarding project status, risks, and outcomes.
  • Risk and Quality Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure project outcomes meet specified standards.
  • Conduct project evaluations and post-project reviews to promote continuous improvement.
  • Financial Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial reporting.
