About The Position

Moments Hospice is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented IT Helpdesk Technician to join our Central NJ office. This entry-level position is ideal for a proactive individual who can take charge and take initiative in supporting the day-to-day technical needs of our staff. You will be the first point of contact for technical issues, requiring the ability to multitask effectively while providing timely support to end users, both in person and remotely. Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 - 5:00pm/6:00pm

Requirements

  • Proven ability to take initiative and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize urgent technical requests
  • Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills; a natural problem-solver
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of IT support or helpdesk experience preferred (internships acceptable)
  • Hands-on experience configuring Windows OS and Android mobile platforms
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and general networking concepts
  • Reliable, organized, and proactive with a team-first mindset
  • Must be able to work on-site full-time in Central NJ

Responsibilities

  • Lead the onboarding process by preparing and deploying technology for new hires to ensure a seamless first day
  • Provision and configure Windows laptops and Android mobile devices, ensuring all hardware is fully updated and secured
  • Take ownership of troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues from start to finish
  • Manage hardware inventory, including tracking assets, maintaining stock levels for peripherals, and performing periodic audits
  • Drive IT projects, assisting the IT Manager with infrastructure upgrades, software migrations, and office expansions
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets via phone, email, and ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution or proper escalation
  • Assist with the deactivation and offboarding of departing employees to maintain data security
  • Maintain and update documentation of IT processes and user guides
  • Support end-users with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Zoom, and other common tools
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA compliance and company data security standards
