About The Position

We are currently seeking an ambitious IT specialist to provide on-site and remote IT Support using various channels such as ticket, phone, email, and chat support. Daily tasks will include maintenance of clients IT environments by providing proactive and reactive support, resolving problems, installing hardware and software, and supporting all client computers, printers, and related equipment. Other tasks include end-user provisioning, software, and hardware troubleshooting, documenting, and performing scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and configurations as needed. You will work with multiple teams organized around specific products or business processes. You'll be joining a company in a hyper-growth stage.

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of IT systems and applications
  • Proficient with macOS and Windows
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination abilities
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Proven experience as IT coordinator or similar role

Nice To Haves

  • Virtualized experience (VMWare, Citrix, Hyper-V) is a plus
  • Network Management & Support is a plus
  • Scripting (mainly Python and Bash with some SQL and PowerShell) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Answers phones, dispatch, monitor, and respond to requests received through the helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Facilities set up desks, hang TVs and whiteboards
  • Provide basic system administration for both PC and MAC environments
  • Troubleshoot, isolate, and research problems, recommending solutions and escalating to team members when necessary.
  • Document all problems by providing a complete and accurate depiction of issues reported, and their resolutions.
  • Management of user accounts, groups, and computers; including new hires and new computer provisioning.
  • Assign end users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory.
  • Perform basic email administration and troubleshooting; adding or removing users from email systems to include Google Workspace
  • Train users on how to utilize various software platforms.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
