Level IV Central Office Installer - National Travel
About The Position
Our client is looking for Lead Techs to support their end clients, when local work isn't available it will be a National traveling project. Their EF&I team is supporting leading providers in the telecom, broadband and Fortune 10 companies. They primarily use Ciena/Infinera equipment and expect someone to be able to run a site on their own, do the site admin/paperwork and run the proper cabling to Ciena 6500s, build out ladder rack if needed (lacing and stitching is required). They are looking for candidates who want a long term opportunity. They're looking for a Level IV Lead CO Installation technician to join their team. Experience leading the Install efforts of DWDM Optical equipment in a CO Environment Install infrastructure such as Fiber, Fiber Trough, Ladder rack, Cabinets Will be testing fibers but they will train an experienced installer with this skill set Ciena DWDM and or Infinera DWDM 7100 Install Experience Travel Details Travel time will be paid up to 8hrs, Hotel, Car Rental + Flights will be prepaid. All other expenses such as parking, meals, incidentals will be reimbursed provided receipts. Mileage reimbursement for use of private vehicle. They tend to keep guys on the road for 2 weeks so there would be time where they would be in market for the weekend. Rarely would someone be on the road for 3 weeks at a time before going home. The focus is on Level 4 installers with DWDM experience and understanding of long-haul routes, emphasizing fiber cleaning and scoping, as technical setup Candidates will be trained on the equipment.
Requirements
- Experience leading the Install efforts of DWDM Optical equipment in a CO Environment
- Install infrastructure such as Fiber, Fiber Trough, Ladder rack, Cabinets
- Ciena DWDM and or Infinera DWDM 7100 Install Experience
- Must pass Drug, Background and DMV check
