About The Position

We will fully train you in all procedures, manuals and study! Upon the completion of training, you will be able to: Processes incoming “Portable Gas Detection Equipment” according to Apollo “Procedures”. Exhibit the ability to understand basics electronics and gas detection theory. Demonstrate proficiency in “Calibration Procedures” as outlines in all manufactured portable instruments instruction manuals. Follow all Apollo internal procedures. Be able to perform “Apollo Safety Basic Calibration Procedure”, as well as “Apollo Safety Premium or Technical Calibration Procedure”. Communicate with manufactures technical department. All Work this technical level will be “in-house”, however technician maybe required assisting other higher level technicians “on-site” at customers facility. Ability and willingness to take study materials home may be required. Ability to repair and test precision mechanical instruments and systems including handling small-scale components Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills with attention to detail required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and be self-motivated while remaining part of a close knit Team. Strong priority and time management skills Proficiency in MS Office Some customer interaction on the job may be required.
