About The Position

The Electrical HTT Technician Assistant performs Electrical Heat treatment for the use of heating, normally to extreme temperatures, to achieve a desired result such as hardening or softening of a material. This position performs heat treatment jobs on a variety of components in the refining, petrochemical, power and construction industries, ranging from small to medium size electrical projects and may include other Heat Treat Methods.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in relevant industry preferred.
Travel requirements: 0% - 50%.

Responsibilities

Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concern.
Performs all duties as assigned and adheres to TEAM's Core Values, as well as TEAM's 7 Critical Choices.
Gathers materials required to fill work orders, as directed.
Sets up the machine, and positions work pieces for processing, as directed.
Assists with necessary adjustments and removes scraps from machine.
Assists with maintaining raw material inventory.
Conducts job walks with certified technicians and be able to communicate requirements.
Interfaces with clients and co-workers.
Ensures jobs are completed in a timely manner and according to schedule.
Instructs assistant in set-up/tear-down of equipment; perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks, calibrations and overall equipment and facilities upkeep.
Completes proper documentation and reports of services provided.
Learns and abides by heat treat procedures.
