About The Position

They offer customized security services, including corporate events, security consultation, church services, and personal protection, with a commitment to integrity and excellence. The company is currently staffing for ARMED Level 3-Commissioned School Resource Officer (SRO) positions on a school campus. The role requires availability weekdays during school hours and is a full-time position.

Requirements

  • Must be Professional
  • Hold a current Level III license issued from TX DPS PSB (pocket guard card in hand)
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation and working phone
  • Ability to safely handle/operate your firearm
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Work independently and possess good work ethics
  • Able to pass a physical fitness assessment
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • 21 years of age
  • U.S. Citizen
  • No FELONY convictions within the last ten (10) years
  • No Class A MISDEMEANOR convictions within the last five (5) years
  • No Class B MISDEMEANOR convictions within the last two (2) years
  • No family violence convictions
  • Cannot currently be on deferred adjudication for any FELONY, Class A or Class B MISDEMEANOR or have any open cases
  • Must have OWN DUTY GEAR/ FIREARM (Service type weapons with service calibers i.e.- Glock; Sig Saur; H&K; Smith & Wesson M&P; 9mm; .40 cal; .45 ACP; etc.)
  • Must have, be able to obtain, and be able to use a Level 3 retention holster
  • Must have, be able to obtain, and be able to use a Duty Belt
  • Must have, be able to obtain, and be able to use OD Green Tactical Pants
  • Ability to walk/stand and/or sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to work ALL shifts, including potential WEEKENDS/HOLIDAYS
  • Clean-cut/ good physical health
  • Possess quality grammar skills (Speaking/Writing)
  • Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors, which may result in exposure to inclement weather
  • Ability to walk, run, climb, crawl, sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Extensive communication (verbal and written) is required
  • Requires the use of sound judgment
  • Must be available weekdays during school hours

Nice To Haves

  • Prior or current Military/Law Enforcement experience
  • Exceptional display of duty weapon manipulation and accuracy

  • Provide Valor protection in a school campus setting
  • Protect while maintaining a professional work ethic
  • Ensure clients (school staff, students, families) are safe

  • Apply critical thinking skills in rendering solutions to various issues that arise in the area of responsibility
  • Effectively communicate with school staff, students, families, and law enforcement professionals
  • Manage witnesses and others when handling or responding to incidents
  • Perform all activities faced by emergency first responders
