As a Network Engineer at Amazon Leo, you will lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of mission-critical enterprise networks supporting our development facilities, pre production and production labs. You will ensure high availability, performance, and security of network infrastructure across multiple locations.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of major internet routing protocols experience
  • 1+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience
  • 1+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl experience
  • Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with AWS and AWS networking products such as Direct Connect and Transit Gateway

Responsibilities

  • Deployment and ongoing maintenance of complex network solutions in manufacturing and lab environments
  • Ensure robust network operations supporting development and testing and efforts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex routing, interconnectivity, and performance issues
  • Implement and manage change control processes for network modifications
  • Develop and maintain operational procedures and technical documentation
  • Enhance and manage monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue detection
  • Bring up labs in new locations and maintain the network and security integrity as the team scales
  • Drive automation initiatives to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical infrastructure support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability for mission-critical operations
