As a Lending Transaction Associate within PNC's Commercial Lending organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Brecksville, OH, Denver, CO, or Dallas, TX. Performs functions in the documentation, funding, and due diligence requirements of standard or complex transactions being financed by PNC, or bought from/sold to other institutions. May provide client-facing service directly or with senior coordinators and interact with external business partners. May provide on-the-job training or coaching. Determines, reviews and issues required legal documents for transactions while ensuring all terms are met. Prepares and issues legal documents to client for complex transactions. Interacts with internal and external contacts to gather necessary information and coordinate closing. Directs work flow as needed to ensure client expectations are met. Builds relationships with legal counsel, vendors and internal partners. Gathers, reviews and analyzes all information from internal and external parties specific to transactions, some of which are complex. Resolves inquiries/issues as necessary. Complies with necessary regulations, internal procedures, and may assist in response to audit exceptions. Validates that transaction structures match pricing models. Assures potential for perfection of security interest for transactions and/or requests approval for exceptions. Requirements

  • Analytical and critical thinking skills - evaluate incoming data and requests, evaluate and obtain requirements
  • Strong communication skills (written / oral) – highly professional, effective, demonstrates respect, comfortable engaging at all levels
  • Excel - download/format data, create pivot tables to identify specific data points, generate charts/tables
  • Able to manage multiple competing priorities with accuracy and responsiveness

Nice To Haves

  • Tableau – leveraging existing reports; generating technical instructions
  • SharePoint – build forms / lists, support reporting and formatting needs
  • PowerPoint – knowledge of PNC-branded formats, use of Designer for formatting
  • Change management experience – generating / reviewing procedures or job aids, leading training
  • ACBS experience – search capability, understand data levels
  • Cross-functional collaboration – experience leading and participating in diverse work groups, bridging gaps, setting goals, and maintaining accountability
