Lending Staff Assistant Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:
Supervise Staff Assistants and manage loan operations through the production of loan documents & supporting documentation. Ensure loan files are kept orderly, and monitor loan file documentation for accuracy and exceptions as well as monitoring for compliance/lending regulations. Provide reports as needed for Department Manager and Loan Officer Review.

Requirements

• Four years of experience in the lending department or work experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Bookkeeping and accounting experience preferred.
• Must possess administrative and organizational skills.
• Must be assertive and possess excellent decision-making abilities.
• Keyboarding and computer skills required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills (including telephone).
• Must be capable of working with and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.

Nice To Haves

• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Bookkeeping and accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise loan operations staff to ensure all daily work, reports and tasks are completed correctly and timely.
• Ensure that loan operations are adequately staffed and that all personnel are trained.
• Set priorities and organize the administrative workload.
• Ensure loan files are kept orderly and monitor loan file documentation exceptions.
• Assist Loan Officers in support of the customers.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for Community President, loan officers and department managers.
• Other duties as assigned which may include preparing Senior Loan Committee packets and having Administrator access to loan related bank systems.
