This position will ensure that members are promptly and professionally served. In addition, this position is responsible for providing quality service to our members during the loan process for consumer loans. Handles loan requests from members over the phone, online, and through branch loan requests. Cross-selling additional products and services is expected. Salesmanship is a key component as this position is commissions driven. This is not
a remote position, and will be located in-office in West Chester, OH.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• General knowledge of Credit Union policies and procedures.
• Basic understanding of loans, payment processing, and interest rates.
• A minimum of one year experience in Member Service at a full-service financial institution or Contact Center.
• Excellent communication and public relations skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to use a personal computer and related software applications including internet browsers, Microsoft Word, and/or Excel.
• Solid math skills and bookkeeping abilities.

Responsibilities

• Pulls credit reports, verifies debts, and accurately adds them to the debt ratio.
• Accurately completes loan applications and gathers supporting documents for the underwriting team.
• Meets loan decision turnaround times.
• Furnishes underwriting with accurate N.A.D.A values.
• Forwards loans to processing with the accurate information needed to close.
• Builds loan requests and sells other auxiliary products offered through the Credit Union (i.e., Credit Insurance, GAP, DP, etc.)
