About The Position

Delivers comprehensive lending support tailored to accommodate the diverse lending requirements of the credit union, its members, and staff. Acts as a key resource, offering guidance and assistance to staff regarding lending systems, policies, regulatory compliance, procedures, best practices, products, services, and inquiries related to Lending Services.

Requirements

  • One year to three years of similar or related experience.
  • High school education or GED.
  • Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
  • Ability to manage the workload and meet deadlines.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are critical.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Resourcefulness in solving problems and providing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates communication across departments utilizing a range of communication channels such as phone, email, fax, and JIRA to ensure efficient handling of lending service responsibilities. Adapts promptly to the unique requirements of each department, providing guidance and support on key processes such as indirect funding, frontline assistance, title processing, loan file maintenance, Ask Ollie procedures, total loss procedures, and report management.
  • Delivers timely support to frontline staff concerning lending systems, policies, regulations, procedures, and product offerings such as GAP, Debt Protection, etc. Ensures adherence to regulatory guidelines and best practices while providing exceptional service experiences to every member. Prioritizes prompt and accurate resolution of member inquiries and needs, fostering loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Serves as a knowledge resource in at least one major department function. Assumes the responsibility for specific projects related to lending. Assists with cross-training within the department and with other staff members.
  • Stays current on applicable regulations, credit union policies, operational controls, safety measures, service, and security procedures to ensure compliance throughout assigned areas of the credit union.
  • Proactively performs other duties as needed or assigned.
