As a Lending Operations Specialist you’ll play an essential role in supporting our Consumer and Real Estate lending functions. You’ll ensure loans are set up accurately, compliance standards are met, and members and internal teams receive timely, professional support. Continuous Improvement: Communicate issues proactively and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and member experience.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of lending, loan operations, or related experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of loan policies and procedures
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism

Responsibilities

  • Support Members & Staff: Respond to internal, member, and vendor requests with professionalism and care—resolving issues related to loan documentation, disbursement, and file maintenance.
  • Loan Setup & Servicing: Set up new consumer loans, process disbursements, prepare payoff statements, conduct loan research, and manage paid loans.
  • Post‑Closing Reviews: Perform quality assurance and compliance reviews on new and modified loans to ensure accuracy, policy adherence, and proper recording of security interests.
  • File & Collateral Management: Maintain physical and electronic files, assist with lien releases, title/UCC tracking, insurance and total loss claims, and escrow support.
  • Continuous Improvement: Communicate issues proactively and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and member experience.
