Northland Area Federal Credit Union is looking for a Lending Specialist I—someone who’s excited about supporting our members and making their financial lives easier. As a Lending Specialist, you’ll play a key role in delivering our mission: to be our members’ most trusted financial partner. You’ll assist members and coworkers with loan questions, help keep loan files accurate and accessible, make adjustments when needed, and ensure our lending processes stay compliant and efficient. Every day brings something a little different—from answering phone inquiries to reviewing loan documents, organizing files, or helping improve our lending products and processes. You’ll become a trusted guide for both coworkers and members, all while building your expertise in mortgage and consumer lending. Requirements

  • Are organized, detail‑minded, and great at multitasking.
  • Enjoy talking with people and providing excellent service.
  • Are comfortable with technology and tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Bring a positive, energized attitude and enjoy working independently while still being part of a team.
  • Hold (or are willing to obtain) an NMLS license.
