About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Lending Operations Sr. Manager to lead a high-performing team supporting auto dealers that partner with Wells Fargo for their indirect lending needs. This leader will collaborate closely with internal partners to shape and execute operational strategies, guide risk and compliance practices, and deliver an exceptional experience for affluent clients. In this critical role, the leader will champion talent development, drive process improvements, and foster a culture of accountability and service excellence across Auto Lending teams with the goal of improving the dealer experience. In this role, you will: Lead the Wells Fargo Auto Dealer Desk team responsible for verbal and e-mail intake requests from auto dealers in an effort to provide accurate information in a timely manner that helps to grow and foster the dealer’s relationship with Wells Fargo. Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners, and peers associated with the Auto Originations functional area Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Auto Originations functional area Participate in the formulation and implementation of new and revised systems, policies, and guidelines Oversee implementation of practices to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo legal, investor, regulatory, or business policies Determine appropriate strategies and actions of Dealer Desk team to meet moderate to high-risk deliverables Interpret and develop policies and procedures for meeting compliance, risk management, and quality standards Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including experienced managers Interact with external customers throughout the conducting of loan processing and liquidations evaluation Provide quality service to new and existing dealer partners of Wells Fargo. Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Dealer Desk. Own all controls for the Dealer Desk space, ensuring they are effective and evidenced on a monthly basis. Ability to partner with key groups inside of Wells Fargo Auto to meet dealer needs. Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated expertise in Auto, with a deep understanding of dealer requests and needs of their lender.
  • Expertise in Auto’s policy, compliance, monitoring, and documentation requirements to ensure effective mitigation of existing risks.
  • Proven relationship management skills, with track record of building trust, leading teams, and implementing innovative solutions in high-value client environments
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a key contributor on large scale projects or initiatives, with a background in project management and/or strategic planning
  • Demonstrated success in operationalizing strategic initiatives and change management within a regulated financial services environment
