About The Position

Texell, named one of the BEST credit unions to work for in the nation by American Banker, is seeking a Consumer Lending Consultant to work onsite at our Temple, TX, headquarters. We’re looking for someone who: 1 – 2 years direct to consumer sales experience, to include a high volume of inbound and outbound calls. Minimum of 6 months’ experience with analyzing credit reports Is comfortable with commissioned-based roles with aggressive sales targets. Strong understanding of consumer loan products (auto, recreational, consolidation, personal, credit cards) and services. Has a teamwork mentality and a drive to work with others to accomplish not only department, but credit union goals. As a Lending Consultant, you will: Be passionate about building relationships with members and meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets! Work onsite in a call center environment, where you will originate different types of consumer loans (auto, credit cards, personal loans), conducting business via telephone, chat, text, and email. Be available to work during the week with rotating Saturdays. Preference is given to those applicants with open availability. You will have high goals to meet.
