Mechanics Bank is currently searching for a Lending Advisor Associate to join our team in one of the following offices: Walnut Creek, CA; Roseville, CA; Irvine, CA; or Seattle, WA. The Lending Advisor Associate participates on a team to support the Sr. Lending Advisor(s) as assigned, to provide sales, administrative process, and relationship management support. Position will focus on client contact, gathering information and/or documentations and interacting with processing, underwriting and closing teams. Manages the loan pipeline and completion of loan files from application through closing to ensure timely loan milestones and loan contingencies as well as the improve client experience. Lending Advisor Associate will act as a central point of contact for internal business partners and clients, supporting Bank processes, products and services, and loan processes in order to deepen client relationships and ensure a positive total experience. This individual will learn and evolve their understanding and mastery of all opportunities to deepen relationships through cross- sell and knowledge of all lending products and partner capabilities. Building rapport with their Sr. Lending Advisor(s), cultivating relationships with clients, and establishing partner foundations will be essential to developing these opportunities. What you will do: Provide support to the Sr. Lending Advisor Team, by providing assistance with complex transactions. Act as a first level support function for the Sr. Lending Advisor and sales team to assist and support with any and all inquiries. Responsible for assisting assigned Sr. Lending Advisors. Monitor and manage loan pipeline, track progress and ensure timely loan milestones and loan contingencies are met and supporting documents are collected. Work on loan conditions alongside with Sr. Lending Advisors. Assist Sr. Lending Advisors by providing input and guidance in case of workflow uncertainties, clarify processes and procedures as needed. Facilitate effective communication between sales and operations teams. Supports Sr. Lending Advisors and Sales team as necessary with customer contact to follow up on conditions, status on milestones, docs, funding’s and closings. Coordinates processes and follows through to completion of other lending related products and services, such as deposit accounts, trusts, treasury products, etc., as directed by the Mortgage Leadership team. Work on special projects and deliverables as directed by the Mortgage leadership team such as strategic initiatives and operational improvements. Who you are: High School or GED required. Associate's Degree preferred; 5+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree NMLS Required
