About The Position

Legal Specialist Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 day per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Ideal candidates will be able to report to one of our Pulse Point locations in Indianapolis, IN, Atlanta, GA, Mason, OH or Norfolk, VA. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. Please note that per our policy on hybrid/virtual work, candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) will not be considered for employment, unless an accommodation is granted as required by law. The Legal Specialist is responsible for providing litigation support services for one or more states or functions and/or for other litigation related matters through a variety of legal assignments and projects which utilize knowledge specific to the company. How You Will Make an Impact: Prepares, analyzes and evaluates legal documents, memorandums, reports, and/or filings. Prepares and organizes case research, notes, and legal documents. Conducts legal research and analysis and recommends appropriate course of action and next steps. Performs fact checking, gathers documents, researches and responds to subpoenas and record requests and assists with investigative and discovery activities and processes. Assists in bankruptcies. Identifies required information for databases or other document management systems. Assists with projects.

Requirements

  • Requires a H.S. diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of legal or related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Nice To Haves

  • Paralegal Certification preferred.
  • AA/AS/BA/BS in a related field preferred.
