Our professional staff plays an important role in the Firm’s continued growth and success. The Uniondale office is seeking a full‑time Legal Assistant to join our Corporate Practice Group.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant corporate experience in a law firm, including experience blacklining documents.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to self‑prioritize, work independently, and manage competing deadlines.
  • Professional judgment, problem‑solving ability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external clients.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work overtime, as necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and organizational support to multiple attorneys within the Corporate Department.
  • Prepare, edit, and blackline legal documents and correspondence.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, internal staff, and external parties.
  • Maintain and organize electronic and physical files, including schedules and matter‑related information.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including mail, emails, and calls.
  • Assist attorneys and staff with day‑to‑day tasks, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assignments.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment.
