The Legal Project Support Assistant provides administrative and operational support for projects primarily within the Legal Department, while also assisting with cross-functional initiatives involving other departments as needed. This role is responsible for coordinating project activities, maintaining accurate and confidential documentation, tracking deliverables, and facilitating effective communications between legal teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners. Essential Duties Assist with research, data gathering, and preparation of reports or presentations related to legal initiatives and issues, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Coordinate and track progress on legal department projects, ensuring timeliness and deliverables are met, and General Counsel and legal staff are well informed on that same. Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes and/or notes as needed. Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents, contracts, and project-related records with a high degree of confidentiality and in an accurate manner. Create and organize information and generate reference tools for easy use. Support the legal team in managing communication with internal departments and external vendors or partners. Monitor project deadlines and follow up on outstanding tasks or required actions. Contribute to process improvements and the development of standard operating procedures for legal project workflows.
