Summary Responsible for providing legal secretarial and administrative support for the Practice Group. Essential Job Functions Prepare correspondence, memoranda and other legal documents such as summonses, complaints, motions, responses, and subpoenas under the supervision of an attorney or other timekeepers Provide trial support Formatting briefs, pleadings and other legal documents Keeping track of attorney time records and billing Filing legal documents (e-filling skills are required) Transcribing dictation Corresponding with clients Maintaining calendars Open new files and client matters Request conflict of interest checks Maintain all client and general files Maintain client contact when appropriate Work closely with other administrative support staff (conflicts, records, office services, etc.) Receive clients and visitors; maintains good public relations with clients; observes confidentiality of attorney-client relationship Proof read documents
