The following position is to join RTX Corporate: The Corporate Legal, Contracts, & Compliance (LCC) team is seeking a Systems Administrator within the Legal Operations team to serve as the front-line support of LCC systems and tools. The successful candidate will work closely with the system stakeholders, Legal Operations leadership, and the legal service providers of the tools. This role will require a deep understanding of systems and tools that deal with workflows, access controls, and email systems. The selected candidate will constantly collaborate with LCC professionals in Corporate and the RTX businesses in the continued maintenance of the Legal Operations controlled systems and provide closed loop resolution to issues. The system admin may support process or policy questions in support of certain LCC teams and will require discretion and privacy for sensitive material or subjects.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Prior experience with platforms and systems under Legal Operations.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a cross-functional team to research issues, drive enhancements, and bring to closure.
  • Prior experience analyzing data and error reports to identify trends.
  • Experience with serving a systems administrator of web-based legal services and systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Paralegal, law firm, or in-house legal experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with various groups within RTX Legal, Contracts, & Compliance, RTX Enterprise Services, and, when necessary, outside providers.
  • Strong preference for direct and current administrative experience addressing tools and systems focused on legal services.
  • Experience supporting legal, contracts, global trade or ethics functions in a large enterprise.
  • Flexible, cooperative, and collaborative; demonstrated ability to adapt.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert, administrator, and trainer on core Legal Operations tools with Onetrust and Docusign being the primary focus.
  • Establish, deactivate, and troubleshoot accounts with appropriate permissions
  • Manage, maintain, triage, and improve internal processes for group email addresses and inboxes under Legal Operations.
  • Troubleshoot system and access issues; serve as the first line of defense between the user and issue; coordinate and lead issue resolution through a combination of internal and external resources.
  • Assist in evaluating new workflow requests and new system features
  • Manage connections with other repositories and data feeds; serve as conduit and coordinator with other technical resources as required.
  • Routinely engage user base for feedback.
  • Grow to oversee additional systems that come under the control of Legal Operations.
  • Assist on various engagements and improvement projects for RTX with focus on Legal, Contracts, & Compliance.
  • Support and update internal LCC websites and SharePoint sites.
