About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Legal Operations professional (mid-to-senior level) for a 3-month engagement supporting a multi-team corporate legal environment. The ideal candidate can quickly take ownership of Lexion CLM administration, drive workflow and automation enhancements, and improve day-to-day operational execution across practice groups.

Requirements

  • Are immediately available for a short-term placement and thrive in a fast paced environment supporting teams across multiple U.S offices
  • Able to work CST-aligned morning hours
  • Are a Lexion CLM (required) superstar and can jump in fast to manage contract workflows and updates.
  • Have excellent Python scripting skills and love using automation to make processes faster and cleaner.
  • Can build and improve automated workflows (routing, approvals, reminders, escalations).
  • Are highly organized while managing multiple objectives , and day-to-day Legal Ops support.
  • Bring a polished, professional communication style with a strong internal client service mindset.
  • Minimum : Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • 4–7+ years of experience in Legal Operations , Contract Management, CLM Administration, or Legal Tech support (mid-level to senior).
  • 2+ years experience in a law firm , corporate legal department, or professional services organization strongly preferred.
  • CLM Lexion experience is required (administration, workflow management, contract routing, templates, or reporting).
  • Python scripting capability (automation scripts, data cleanup, integrations, workflow support).
  • Working knowledge of DocuSign (signature routing, templates, tracking, and troubleshooting).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, filters, lookups, pivots, validation, and reporting trackers).
  • Demonstrated experience supporting contract workflows, intake processes, legal requests, or matter/contract operations at scale.
  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders across offices/time zones and maintaining high responsiveness in a service-based environment.
  • Strong operational ownership, combining a process improvement mindset with high attention to detail: ability to run daily processes while improving efficiency and consistency behind the scenes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with attorneys, legal ops leadership, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong customer service mindset: professional, responsive, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines, manage high-volume requests, and keep tasks moving without constant oversight.
  • Understanding of legal operations standards, document retention practices, and system-based workflow governance.
  • Strict adherence to confidentiality protocols and handling sensitive legal, contractual, and client information appropriately.
  • Ability to maintain secure document storage, role-based access practices, and clean audit trails in legal systems.
  • Commitment to accurate documentation, process consistency, and escalation of risks, issues, or compliance concerns per firm procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day Legal Ops execution including stakeholder communications, calendars, scheduling, and meeting logistics across multiple offices and teams with timely follow-up
  • Support and optimize workflows in Lexion CLM (required) including templates, routing, approvals, and system updates
  • Use Python to support automation, reporting enhancements, workflow improvements, and data clean-up as needed
  • Maintain automated workflows (approvals, notifications, escalations, reminders) to reduce manual work
  • Manage DocuSign workflows including signature routing, template support, and troubleshooting
