Flock Safety is hiring a Legal Operations Manager who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and operationally minded to support our growing Legal Department This position will report to the VP, Legal and Security Operations and help support and enable a fast-paced and energetic Legal Team that leans on Legal Operations to do their best work. This role will focus as a force-multiplier helping our teammates partner with their internal stakeholders more efficiently and effectively and help drive forward Flock’s mission.

Requirements

  • No Ego Mindset- Willingness and ability to jump into any task, big or small, with the same amount of enthusiasm and effort.
  • Paralegal, legal operations professional, legal project manager or JD, with 2-4+ years experience preferably with an in-house legal department .
  • Willingness and ability to roll up your sleeves and jump right in to support the team.
  • A team player that is detail-oriented and business-friendly with an ability to accommodate tight deadlines in an evolving and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously to manage time effectively and prioritize work appropriately to meet deadlines.
  • Experience and comfort working with Slack, Salesforce, Docusign CLM, Loopio, Ironclad and other cloud-based software tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including an impeccable mastery of the English language.
  • Clear adherence to company policies and procurement rules and regulations.
  • Effective organization skills and the ability to multitask on several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Willingness to work virtually or in a remote-first company.

Responsibilities

  • Vendor + Technology Management- Ability to manage Legal technology vendors and consultants, helping to manage contract renewals, technology replacement initiatives, and RFPs for new vendor searches.
  • Legal Intake- Ability to develop and manage processes for intake of requests to the Legal Department, constantly looking for ways to make the process more efficient and streamlined.
  • Project Management- Own and drive projects for Legal and cross-functionally across Flock, creating project plans and pushing teams for clarity and next steps to keep projects moving forward productively.
  • Knowledge Management and Governance- Develop and support programs that promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across the team (e.g., centralized resources, processes, memos, policies, and other learnings) and assist with governance of any knowledge management processes.
  • Drive Collaboration- Work cross-functionally across Flock to drive forward strategic initiatives as assigned by the VP of Legal + Security Operations
