About The Position

You will lead the operational backbone of our Legal Department while managing our litigation portfolio. This role combines strategic leadership in legal operations with hands-on litigation management, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and predictable outcomes.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of employment
  • Minimum 4-year Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 3 years previous experience in legal operations, litigation management, legal assistant, insurance or closely related roles
  • Proven executive-level communication and project leadership skills, including the ability to prioritize large volumes of projects and meet strict deadlines
  • Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and extended hours as needed
  • Able to travel as needed
  • Minimum physical requirements: able to travel to and gain access to various areas of the ballpark for prolonged periods of time during games and events; able to lift and transport up to 25 pounds
  • As a condition of employment, you must successfully complete all post-offer, pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check
  • Proficient to advanced computer skills including experience with MS Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc., and general knowledge of basic office equipment including copier, laser printer, telephone, and computer
  • Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and effectively work well with others in a collaborative, respectful manner
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills with capacity to handle high volumes of detailed work, multi-task and manage projects on strict deadlines
  • Maintain strict confidence and professionalism in all aspects of the role
  • Maintain professional demeanor with a high degree of discretion, integrity, and accountability
  • Maintain consistent, punctual, and reliable attendance

Responsibilities

  • Litigation Management : Manage end-to-end litigation processes including intake, insurance management, scoping, law firm selection, case strategy, discovery, settlement planning, and implement playbooks for litigation matters
  • Legal Operations Leadership : Oversee filing and management systems, billing, and implement standard operating procedures and playbooks
  • Financial & Vendor Oversight : Build budgets, negotiate rates, track spend vs. plan, and maintain law firm scorecards
  • Technology & Data : Drive adoption of technology and tools, including AI
  • Administrative Support : Provide administrative support such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, managing correspondence, organizing files, and assisting the General Counsel with document review, research, and other tasks
  • Stakeholder Communication : Coordinate cross-department communication with all departments of the organization
