The Big Picture: Describe the role and team the candidate will be joining What You'll Do: Team Leadership & Management • Directly manage, mentor, and support pre-litigation paralegals • Assign workloads, monitor performance, and ensure coverage across all teams • Conduct regular check-ins, performance reviews, and coaching sessions • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of new paralegals • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture Pre-Litigation Operations • Oversee case workflows to ensure timely progression • Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement process improvements • Coordinate with attorneys to ensure paralegal support aligns with case strategy • Ensure accurate case documentation, reporting, and data entryProcess Improvement & Compliance • Develop, maintain, and refine standard operating procedures for pre-litigation support • Ensure compliance with firm policies, ethical standards, and jurisdictional requirements • Monitor case metrics and KPIs to evaluate efficiency and performance • Implement best practices to improve productivity, quality control, and client service Process Improvement & Compliance • Develop, maintain, and refine standard operating procedures for pre-litigation support • Ensure compliance with firm policies, ethical standards, and jurisdictional requirements • Monitor case metrics and KPIs to evaluate efficiency and performance • Implement best practices to improve productivity, quality control, and client service Cross-Department Collaboration • Work closely with intake, medical records, demand, litigation, and settlement teams • Serve as a point of contact for operational issues affecting case flow • Communicate staffing needs, workload trends, and operational challenges to leadership
