The Legal Operations Assistant provides support to Areas’ Legal Operations Team. This role involves supporting mission-critical projects such as the timely application for and renewal of new and existing business, restaurant, retail, and liquor licenses. This includes drafting forms, obtaining physical and digital signatures, corresponding with government agencies, collecting licensing requirements, conducting research into licensing requirements, organizing and maintaining files in accordance with company policy, retrieving and collecting corporate records, and various filings with the Secretaries of State. Additionally, the assistant will help the Legal Team organize its tasks through a dedicated task system.
