Legal Law Clerk Intern Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company is seeking a Legal Law Clerk summer intern for our Litigation department Position Requirements: Understanding of legal terminology and local court/jurisdiction rules. Understanding of legal research and writing. Must be flexible with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Ability to prioritize and identify urgency as well as manage time and multitask effectively. Must be capable of performing a variety of clerkship duties for the Dept. Position Duties: Conduct legal research and writing on legal issues in litigation. Draft litigation documents for review by attorneys. Attend for observation of hearings, depositions, and mediations of cases in litigation. Timely complete required litigation tasks. Perform tasks electronically in a paperless environment. Experience and Skills: Completion of 1L or 2L years of an accredited law schools. Highly proficient in MS Office software and Professional Adobe or Nuance.
