Chicago 2026 Summer Legal Intern Old National Bank has been serving clients and communities since 1834. Our legal internship program is designed to provide our intern with a better understanding of in-house legal practice in the banking industry. Throughout the 10-week program, you will have the opportunity to work with attorneys across the Old National Legal Department supporting and advising the array of bank business lines. Personal and professional development opportunities include an assigned mentor, exposure to executive leaders, collaboration with peers on a group project, and the option to participate in a community service project. Program Duration This temporary internship program runs approximately 40 hours per week, June 8, 2026 through mid-August. At this time, we are unable to extend a full-time return offer upon conclusion of the internship. Compensation $20/HR

Requirements

  • 1L or 2L
  • Self-motivation - you will manage and prioritize multiple, on-going projects in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent eye for detail and high level of integrity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office - strong capabilities in Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Strong time management skills with an emphasis on follow-through.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment authorization for this job opening.
