Supports the General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, Chief Risk Officer, and Associate General Counsel by providing legal advice and contract support related to the operations of the health system. Serves as a generalist attorney with a primary focus on healthcare contracting. Manages a high volume of hospital agreements and provides timely, practical legal guidance to other attorneys in the department and business partners across the organization. Requires excellent time management, strong communication skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with operational leaders and external partners. Education: Required: Bachelor's Degree and Juris Doctor Degree Licensure/Certification: Required: Must be a member of the State Bar of California in good standing or eligible to qualify as registered in-house counsel in State of California and will become a member of the State Bar of California in good standing within eighteen (18) months of hire Experience: Required: Three (3) years of experience as an attorney in a law firm and/or in-house environment
