About The Position

Corporate Governance Manage the corporate documents of the company and those of its affiliates. Manage the company set up, corporate structure changes under the supervision of general counsel. Contract Management: Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, such as NDA, letters of intent, purchase and sale agreement, lease agreement, construction agreement. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate continuous contracting and process improvements and inclusion of their considerations in document terms Manage contract templates, maintain a centralized contract database, and monitor contract renewals and expiration dates. Compliance Improve corporate compliance and provide recommendation to the company and its headquarters under the supervision of general counsel. General Legal Support: Provide legal advice and support to various departments within the organization, including operations, human resources, finance, and marketing. Provide legal support in mergers and acquisitions as needed. Manage outside counsel as needed.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to any state bar in U.S. in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing law in the U.S., preferably with experience in a law firm as well as inhouse in a multinational company.
  • Proven experience in contract review, negotiation, and drafting required.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels under pressure required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual skills preferred but not required.
  • Solar industry knowledge preferred but not required.
