About The Position

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our growing team and serve as a key business partner across the organization. This role will be responsible for leading all commercial legal processes at Anecdotes, supporting our global customer and vendor relationships, and ensuring legal compliance across our operations. You’ll be the main point of contact for all corporate legal matters, including commercial negotiations, vendor management, employment, and entity governance. You’ll collaborate closely with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Executive teams, while managing relationships with external counsel (EBN, DLA, or others as needed)-with a focus on efficiency, cost savings, and scalability. Requirements

  • LL.B from a leading academic institution
  • 4-5 years of experience as in-house counsel in a high-tech company or as part of a top-tier law firm advising technology clients.
  • Proven experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements independently.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS, fintech, cybersecurity, data, or payments ecosystems.
  • Excellent commercial judgment and the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.
  • Business-oriented mindset with an interest in growing into a leadership role within a scaling legal function.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Nice To Haves

  • Active license to practice law in Israel
  • Experience in GRC, security, compliance, or risk-related domains
  • Background in high-growth SaaS or startup environments

Responsibilities

  • Draft, negotiate, and approve a wide range of commercial agreements with global customers, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Lead and own negotiations for high-value commercial deals, including SaaS, OEM, MSAs, enterprise, channel, and professional services agreements.
  • Provide ongoing legal guidance and support throughout the commercial lifecycle, balancing business objectives with risk management.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance commercial playbooks and contract templates to drive efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
  • Act as the primary liaison for all corporate legal matters, including entity management, employment, and compliance governance.
  • Support global compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to privacy, data protection, and regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
  • Design and implement scalable legal and compliance processes aligned with company policies and objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales, Product, Revenue Operations, and Executive teams.
  • Provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice to enable rapid, compliant growth in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage relationships with external legal counsel and minimize dependency through internal process improvement.
  • Drive measurable cost savings and efficiency in legal operations.
  • Partner with internal teams (Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Product, HR) to deliver practical legal solutions.
  • Support internal and cross-functional projects, offering legal insights on commercial, technology, and regulatory challenges.
  • Stay current on evolving industry laws and best practices to ensure compliance and innovation readiness.
